Intermediate Level Piano Pieces?

I played the piano for 8 years. I would say (and also according to my past teachers) that I'm at an intermediate level. I worked on a few jazz pieces, but now I want to get a few clical pieces. Any suggestions? I listened to some of Chopin's pieces, and I like how they sound (ie: Ballade No. 1, Mazurka, and a Waltz) and also Clair de Lune and Arabesque #1 by Debussy. Would they be too difficult for me to play?
