Is it odd for a guy to never date in High school?

I am 16 and I haven't had my first kiss yet. I have tried to get girls to go on a date with me, but my advances never really worked. I am going to keep trying to find a girl who can tolerate me, but I don't think that I will in High school, as heartbreaking as it is for me to admit. So, am I weird for this? When I get to college are women going to think I am creepy/pathetic for this?
