How do I get a ticks head out of my skin?

This is something I read about recently. In fact I got an e-mail on it. I don't have any personal info on whether it works or not, but it's worth a shot. The e-mail said to take a cotton ball and soak it in liquid soap, like dish liquid or other liquid hand soap. Then hold the soaked cotton ball on the spot for a few minutes. It said it was suppose to bring it out. I hope it helps you. The e-mail swore to it, but you never know.
