It hurts to have , let alone touching the l area.?

Even during , fingers down there hurt in a certain area (like the skin around the l area) I've never enjoyed having , as it has always hurt and even when I have been turned on it still hurts horribly.It's frustrating my relationship because I am basically repulsed by any action concerning because it correlates with my l area being touched or rubbed against. Any suggestions or information would be great. Also, I talked to my doctor (nurse practitioner) about the issue, she said that shouldn't happen but didn't go any further than that.
