Good luck sometimes convincing the Rents to get a pet is the hardest thing to do! Maybe you should tell her the bad situation the kitten is in now, and that you have already fell in love with it. Also let her know that your older and more mature, and can take better care of an animal. Personally I think it is a very mature thing for you to see what the owners are doing now, and know it is not the right thing....good for you. One more thing, do your research on siamese cats to back up your theory that they are good cats, and do not grow very big. If it still doesn't work out, you should contact animal control and get that kitten taken away from them, and don't worry it can be an anonymous tip. I know they are your friend, but no animal should live like that.
