Fishing maggots and worms?

if i put out raw meat will there be maggots in it later on in the day... and can i freeze the maggots so i can use them later? and also can i do the same with worms... i mainly use nature for my bait i dont normally go and buy live bait... once wen i ran out of live bait i decided to catch those giant grhoppers and se them...boy did they work
